The NBCUniversal Foundation’s 2025 Local Impact Grants Challenge
We are proud and grateful to share that the Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard (UMACC) has been selected as a 2025 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant recipient.
The NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants program supports nonprofits whose work advances Youth Education & Empowerment, Next Generation Storytellers, and Community Engagement—focus areas that strongly align with UMACC’s mission to provide dignified food access and essential resources to our neighbors.
As part of this recognition, we had the honor of welcoming Keith Jones, Morning Anchor, along with members of the NBCUniversal team, to UMACC. During their visit, they toured our pantry and Resource Center, met our volunteers, and learned firsthand about the impact of our programs on local families.
This grant represents more than financial support—it is a meaningful investment in community-based solutions that strengthen families, uplift voices, and foster connection. With this support, UMACC will continue expanding access to nutritious food, personal-care items, educational resources, and community partnerships that help our neighbors thrive.
We are deeply thankful to NBCUniversal for recognizing the importance of local organizations and for believing in the power of community to create lasting change.
