Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation

We are proud to announce that Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation to support our 2027 Summer Breakfast & Lunch Program!

When UMACC launched this program in 2025, the goal was simple: help ease the additional food needs families experience when children are home for the summer.

In just two summers, we have distributed 10,584 pre-packed breakfast and lunch bags to children in registered UMACC families.

The success of this program has been made possible through the generosity of community members, businesses and supporters who have helped UMACC provide this additional food support throughout the summer. You helped build the foundation that has allowed this program to grow. 💙

And now, with the support of the Foxwynd Foundation, we have the opportunity to make it even stronger.

In 2027, this funding will help us incorporate more nutritious items into our breakfast and lunch bags and increase the number of bags available to each family.

This grant also marks the beginning of a new partnership between UMACC and the Foxwynd Foundation, and we are incredibly grateful for their investment in the families we serve.

Because sometimes growth isn’t just about doing more — it’s about finding ways to do better.

We’re excited for what Summer 2027 will bring!
